Kim Tuchek to be inducted into Diocese of Cleveland CYO Hall of Fame

June 10, 2025

For 33 years, Kim Tuchek has volunteered her time and energy to ensure that the children of St. Francis Xavier Parish were able to serve and love God while competing in a variety of sporting events.

Over the years, thousands of children in our day school and Parish School of Religion registered for and played on parishwide teams in a CYO league that pitted them against parishes throughout Cleveland and Akron.

This complex system was organized by Kim, who volunteered shortly after becoming Catholic and joining our parish. Although she never had children of her own nor was much of an athlete herself, Kim (who is married to Scott) agreed to apply her organizational skills to serve this important role in our parish.

In September, Kim’s hard work and dedication will be recognized with her induction into the CYO Hall of Fame.

Congratulations Kim, and thank you for your many years of selfless and tireless work on behalf of our children!
